Fall Photo Sessions!

-All bookings from Sept 1 2024 until Nov 3 2024 will be entered into our canvas draw which will take place after the first weekend in November
-Cost is: $75 for 5 digital photos, or $125 for 30 mins, no specific number of photos. Payments can be made by: cash, debit, credit, or EMT to: contact@northernexposures.ca
-location will be determined a day or two before each weekend depending on where the scenery develops. Locations will all be in the Elliot Lake area. I will let you know! If you wish to book a bigger package or your own preferred location, please check for weekday availability.

-When booking, let me know your preferred time and date and I will tell you what is available closest to your preferences. Please do not ask what is available, I work 365 days a year lol. It's more efficient for me to know your preferences and offer you what is still available close to your request.
-Due to last minute cancelations during prime time in previous seasons, if you have never booked with us before or you have cancelled last minute with us in the past, a deposit of $50 will be required to book any weekend in October. Past clients are not required to pay a deposit.
-Saturday Oct 5 and Saturday Oct 12 are both unavailable.
-studio sessions available on weekdays if requested

Canvas giveaway!
Everyone who books this season (sept 1 to Nov 3) will have an entry into our canvas raffle. To support our loyal customers, if you are a repeat client, you will have an extra entry into the raffle for each past session you ever booked with us! So if you have booked 5 times in the past and book now, you will have 6 entries into our canvas giveaway! You must book this fall to activate the past ballots. Message us at anytime to find out how many ballots you have!
Canvas giveaway will be a 16x24 of your choice from what is available on our wall in our studio at: 5 Columbia walk, Elliot Lake.
The Reds
As the leaves begin to change, the vibrant reds of maple trees are a sure sign that fall has arrived. Embrace the beauty of the season with these warm and inviting hues. This stage generally tends to peak around the first week of October. This beautiful color is usually along the outer perimeter of the forests.
The Yellows
As the second week of October approaches, the vibrant red leaves of the trees begin to fade, making way for the bright yellow hues of the birch. It's a beautiful transition during autumn. By thanksgiving weekend, the yellows generally start to take over the interiors of the forests
Fallen Leaves
As the autumn season progresses, the trees shed their leaves, revealing the bare branches. The fields are adorned with a golden hue, and the sunrays effortlessly penetrate the interiors. This stage is good for field shots, or earth tones from within the forests.
The Browns
Late October is a magical time of year when the trees shed their leaves, a beautiful carpet of rich brown foliage on the ground. It's the perfect opportunity for children to play in the piles and capture some unforgettable photographs. Let the fun begin!

All of our photo edits are hand crafted from scratch without using amateur lightroom presets. This is why we stand out from our competitors. Most people use a washed out rustic fade or matte effect on all there edits adding some black and white with 1 click and then expect you to pay top notch pricing. To put it in perspective, that is like a home owner putting a fresh coat of paint on the walls and thinking they did a 20k improvement to their property. Its also why they offer so many photos in a package, because its 1 click edits.
At Northern Exposures Photography, we are not that simple, and we think you deserve better for your money. We shoot each photo in RAW format, and individually hand brush each edit including color grading, soft skin and blemish removal effects to name a few without revealing our secrets! In some circumstances we can expand current borders seamlessly or apply new skies to change the mood, or even change the color of leaves as needed to create the perfect story-telling memory of you and your loved ones!
