 Important Booking Information 

Travel & Fuel Fees

We believe beautiful memories are worth travelling for!

For photography sessions outside the City of Elliot Lake, a travel fee of $1.00 per kilometre (one-way distance) applies. Distances are calculated using Google Maps.

For longer trips that require overnight accommodations or would involve an unreasonable late-night return, an additional $300 room and meal fee may apply.

Bookings located more than 100 km from Elliot Lake must be paid in full no later than the day before travel.

Photo Delivery

Your memories deserve a little extra care, and we want every photograph to look its very best.

Once your photographs are professionally edited and ready, we'll provide a private Google Drive link where you can view and download your finished images.

Your personal gallery link will be sent through email or Messenger, depending on your preferred method of communication.

Most photo orders are completed within 2 weeks, depending on the season and our editing workload. Some orders may be ready sooner, while others may take a little longer.

If additional time is needed, we'll keep you updated along the way.

Visit Our Downtown Studio

Our photography studio is located at 5 Columbia Walk in downtown Elliot Lake. With our lighting and equipment already set up, we can focus on creating beautiful portraits without the hassle of rearranging your home.

There is no additional studio setup fee when you visit us.

Prefer a Session at Home?

We can bring our portable studio equipment directly to you, allowing you to enjoy a professional photography experience in the comfort of your own home.

A $50 home studio setup fee applies to these sessions.

When you choose Northern Exposures Photography, you're choosing more than someone behind a camera. You're choosing our creativity, experience, and the artistic finishing touches that make every photograph special.

Every delivered image reflects our signature photography and editing style, including professional adjustments to lighting, colour, and composition.

We do not provide RAW or unedited camera files under any circumstances.

RAW files are unfinished working files intended for professional post-production. Your finished photographs are delivered as high-quality JPEG images, beautifully prepared for you to enjoy, share, and print.

We take great pride in delivering photographs that represent the quality and style you've come to expect from Northern Exposures Photography.

Business Invoices & Administration

Business Invoices & Administration

We're happy to provide professional invoices for business clients who require documentation for their accounting or tax records.

Additional Administration — $25

A one-time $25 administration fee applies when payment arrangements require additional paperwork beyond a standard invoice, such as external vendor registration forms, banking documentation, or payroll-related applications.

Invoice Accuracy

All invoices reflect the full photography service purchased. We cannot divide or alter an invoice to represent only a portion of a session as a separate business expense.

If your photography purchase includes both personal and business use, your accountant can help determine the appropriate portion to claim for tax purposes.

Those tiny fingers, little toes, sleepy expressions, and first cuddles change so quickly. Our newborn sessions are designed to capture these fleeting moments in a relaxed, comfortable environment.

Our studio is equipped with a changing table, blankets, and newborn wraps to help keep your little one comfortable throughout the session.

While we have a limited selection of props available, we encourage parents to bring their own favourite outfits, costumes, blankets, or meaningful keepsakes. These personal touches make your photographs even more special and uniquely connected to your family.

And don't worry if your little one needs feeding, changing, or a cuddle. We'll work around your baby's comfort and natural rhythm.
